Soft Tissue and Movement Therapy Treatments

Our Unique Way of Working

Follow the Clues
In clinic, we use functional movement assessments alongside muscle testing to identify the compensatory patterns that your body has adopted over time which are creating inefficient movement patterning. Using the nervous system response as a marker to movement and breathing patterns, we can determine the safest way to drop the compensation patterns which once served you well, in order to help you improve movement, optimise movement pattern recruitment, reduce pain, improving your physical, mental and emotional well being.

Reset the Map
Your treatment is determined by your body’s needs. Key techniques include neuromuscular techniques such as Neurokinetic Therapy, neuroemotional techniques from Adaptable Polarity, movement modelled by Anatomy in Motion’s ‘Flow Motion Model’ and Sports and Remedial Massage techniques. This may involve soft tissue release work, cupping, movement work, breathing techniques, cranial sacral techniques, energy techniques and emotional releases. Having a varied tool box of strategies means there is something for everyone.

Integrate the New Patterns
Your sessions are just part of the equation to your progress. Creating new habits requires repetition for the brain to lay new neural pathways. Every session is accompanied by guided homecare for your individual needs so you make greater progress, that integrates more fully.
