We have tried our best to make these clear and easy to read and where possible have avoided using legal terms and jargon. Upon booking of treatment the client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Consultation and Treatment
All new clients must first have an initial consultation and treatment appointment before booking follow up appointments. Clients must have completed a health questionnaire intake form prior to their appointment which should be completed at the time of booking an initial appointment with My Bodyworks.
My Bodyworks reserves the right to refuse to treat clients were medical conditions are deemed contraindicated to the treatments offered by My Bodyworks. My Bodyworks will refer such cases out to a medical professional and only carry out treatment at a later date with the client on receipt of written medical consent from such a professional.
Minors (under the age of 18) must be accompanied to their appointment by a parent or legal guardian who must give permission, along with the client’s consent, for My Bodyworks to provide hands on treatment.
Booking and Payments
For ease, bookings for appointments can be made and paid for online. This service is provided by acuityscheduling.com. If we have rebooked an appointment for you during your session, payment wil be taken in clinic, by card, through Paypal iZettle.
If you need a receipt for accounts purposes, you may request this by email and My Bodyworks will provide one within 3 days of your session.
Treatment sessions booked and paid for, must be used by the Client. We are unable to transfer your session to another person.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you are unable to keep your appointment, the Client can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours prior to the appointment by pressing the ‘Cancel/Reschedule Appointment’ button on the bottom of their appointment confirmation email.
Please note that any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice of the appointment will be charged full price. We recognise that sometimes emergencies come up and My Bodyworks will do their best to accomodate you in rescheduling your appointment.
If a Client fails to show up for their appointment, the full fee will be incurred.
A Client’s late arrival will result in reduced treatment time. Your session time will end at the scheduled time to prevent disruption to the next client. You will still incur full fee for your session. If My Bodyworks is running late, you will receive your full treatment tim, as per your booking.
All marketing and information produced by My Bodyworks on their website at https://mybodyworks.uk, on their Facebook, Instagram of LinkedIn business pages, are the property of My Bodyworks and are subject to copyright.
My Bodyworks will communicate with the Client by email with regards to their complaint. The client consents to this being a valid communication link and accepts that there is a risk of confidentiality. My Bodyworks takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that information via email is secure, but will not be liable for loss or damage suffered by the Client as a result of emails communications.
The client has the option to opt out of newsletters and educational emails at the time of booking their initial consultation.
