This 1-1, six session, soft tissue rehab programme is for you if you have had a baby and are looking for help with releasing and restoring your body’s soft tissues to aid your recovery from pregnancy and childbirth.
After having a baby, the tissues need time to heal and repair and then the work begins to get you back to strength, restore your core function and enabling your body to hold you in its best posture again.
If you have had a c-section delivery, we shall work on the scar to optimise the mobility of the scar tissues and help prevent movement restrictions which can be caused throughout the body from the scars adhesions.
We work to reduce your tummy gap ( diastasis recti) by releasing the structures which are tight and preventing your abdominals from activating and knitting back together. Lots of attention is brought to the muscles of your rib cage to reduce the flare produced in pregnancy and teach you to breath optimally so your breath helps the recovery of the gap, instead of working against it.
Neuromuscular testing, release work and strengthening is used to restore balance between the components of the core – pelvic floor, diaphragm (your breathing muscle) your abdominals and your deep back, stabilising muscles.
We address the postural challenges of pregnancy and being a new mum to help you build great habits to be a strong mummy.

All sessions are supported by homework for you to continue in between sessions which helps optimise the great work we complete in session and create new, strong habits whilst you recover.
